Hi! I'm Gracie Nygaard, a 20-year-old miniaturist from Illinois. My interest in miniatures began around 2017 with a book called Tiny Treasures: Amazing Miniatures You Can Make! I looked at that book over and over again, and every time I felt inspired to create something small. The first miniature I ever made was a blueberry pie. It had a bottle-cap pie dish, a felt crust, and little blue beads for blueberries. Since then, I have continued to make miniatures with a variety of materials, including polymer clay, wood, paper, and fabric.
